Billing Payment and Collection
of Accounts:
Meters are read and billed at approximately the same
dates each month. |

There may
be some variation in number of days for which service is billed
resulting from weekends, holidays and weather conditions.
Bills
are due upon the due date printed on the front of the bill.
Any account that remains unpaid for more than fifteen (15)
days after the due date is delinquent and subject to a late
charge and service disconnection, according to SSVEC’s
tariffs. SSVEC uniformly enforces its collection policy, which
includes interruption of service when appropriate under the
tariffs.
A service
charge will be assessed for each check returned to SSVEC due
to insufficient funds or for any other reason.
Customers
who are unable to make a payment in a timely manner (due to
unforeseen circumstances.) are urged to contact their local
Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative office to discuss
possible payment arrangements. If you have any questions concerning
your account or if you need information or advice about safety,
energy savings, or any other electric utility matter, feel
free to call us.
Automatic Credit Card & Bank Draft
Deduction:
We provide
automatic deductions from checking & Visa or MasterCard
credit card accounts for our members. Just open, print and
fill out the appropriate form below. Once completed, you can
mail or deliver the form to your local SSVEC office.
Regulation:
The rules,
regulations and rates under which the cooperative provides
electric service have been approved the Arizona Corporation
Commission, 1200 West Washington, Phoenix, Arizona 85007,
phone - 602-542-4251. The cooperative requests an opportunity
to reply to all consumer inquiries first. Questions and unresolved
complaints may be referred to this state regulatory agency.
