Sulphur
Springs Valley Electric Cooperative offers a variety of community
programs. These programs include energy assistance, energy
programs, loan programs, rebate programs, a safety program,
and youth programs. Click on the links to the left for more
information about these programs.

Energy
Assistance:
SSVEC provides at no cost, technical assistance to our
members with the latest information in regards to energy
use, energy efficient HVAC, and appliances. We now have
two online features that members can use to get the latest
information on home energy use. The two online features
are "Energy Suite" and the "Home Energy
Calculator". |

Energy
Programs:
SSVEC offers two Energy Programs that promote energy efficiency
and comfort. SSVEC has always placed a priority on promoting
energy efficiency to their members. These programs are
designed to help members save energy in their home. |

Loan
Programs:
SSVEC offers both a Member Loan Program and an EC Commercial
Loan Program for Business Members. |

Operation
RoundUp:
As an SSVEC member, you now have the opportunity to help
individuals and organizations in our communities through
a program called Operation Round-Up®. When you sign
up to participate in this program your electric bill is
rounded-up to the next whole dollar amount. The additional
money (from 1 to 99 cents) is placed into the cooperative’s
Charitable Trust and these funds are dedicated to charitable
projects within our service area. The program is flexible
in that you may also give a one-time gift or a fixed monthly
amount. |

Rebate
Programs:
SSVEC has three programs that offer Rebate Incentives
for Energy Efficient Measures. All Programs reward members
that help conserve our valuable resources. The Heat Pump,
Water Heater, and the All Electric Home Rebates are offered
to our members. |

Safety
Program:
SSVEC has partnered with Safe Electricity in an outreach
program. This program is intended be a public awareness
program for the dangers of electricity. It also teaches
the steps people can take to be safe around electricity. |

Youth
Programs:
In 1984, SSVEC members approved a change in the cooperative’s
bylaws to establish the Sulphur Springs Valley Electric
Cooperative Foundation. The Foundation is a tax-exempt,
charitable corporation. The purpose of the SSVEC Foundation
is to support SSVEC’s ongoing youth programs: the
Washington Youth Tour, SSVEC Foundation Scholarship Program,
and the Youth Engineering and Science Fair. |
