Are you
ready to replace that tired, old heating and cooling unit
that runs up your bill? How about the water heater? Are you
looking into measures that will make your home more energy
efficient? SSVEC's Member Loan Program was designed to assist
SSVEC Members in making their homes more energy efficient,
comfortable, and affordable.
Loans Available:

Loans
are for Electric Heat Pumps and A/C systems with a SEER
of 14 or higher, heat pump electric water heaters, replacement
electric water heaters, capacitors, and demand/load controllers.

Loans
are for Heat Pumps and A/C Systems with a SEER of less
than 14, and any dual fuel Heat Pump. |

Loans
are for insulation measures, thermal or storm windows,
weatherization measures, and repair or replacement of
water pumping plant equipment for improved efficiency.

purchase price and installation of energy efficient heat
pumps and central air conditioning units. |
Terms
Members can make payments for as little as 12 months or as
long as 84 months. SSVEC will never charge prepayment penalties
for early payoff of our loans. There is a $2000 minimum loan
amount.
Requirements
Qualifying individuals will have been an SSVEC member for
at least one year with no more than 2 delinquencies in the
last 12 months. SSVEC will also run a credit report to verify
credit worthiness.
Application Procedures
Fill out the Member Loan Application form and submit to your
local SSVEC office. Attach a copy of the estimate from the
contractor, including name brand and model number, and a copy
of your Deed of Trust for the real property. Applications

A Member
Loan Representative will contact you upon receipt of your
application.
Fees and other Information
The Member Loan Representative will notify you of the date
you will be signing your papers and collecting the check.
The application process takes two to three weeks. A $20.00
processing fee is due and payable at the time the loan papers
are signed. A $30.00 recording fee will also be due and payable
at the time the loan papers are signed.
The Member
Loan Program is designed to assist qualifying members improve
the energy efficiency and comfort of their homes. Although
not a requirement for a loan, we encourage members to speak
to an SSVEC Energy Management Specialist to determine energy
needs before purchasing heating, ventilation, or air conditioning
