Organized by Southwest Wings, Sierra Vista’s very own birding and nature festival, the Spring Fling brings people from all over the globe to see the birds and other wildlife which makes Southeast Arizona so special.Led by expert local guides, the field trips consist of small groups and are mostly day trips which start early, and many of them are out of the van and birding by 6:30 am. Early Bird arrivals are invited to join us Tuesday 4pm – 6pm at Cochise College Student Center which is next door to the Library and early registration location. Come early and be our guest at our new exclusive festive Kick-Off gathering and enjoy food and refreshments! Meet and mingle with your fellow Southwest Wings participants, guides and the faces behind “The Greatest Little Birding Festival in the United States!”.
